Finished to an exceptionally high standard, our range of eco-friendly coffins and caskets come in a variety of ethically sourced materials including, cardboard, willow, bamboo, wool and oak, all are popular alternatives to traditional coffins.
Environmental coffins
Most modern coffins are made from unsustainable or man-made materials such as veneered timber. However, studies have shown cremating these materials has a negative impact on our environment.
At Bennetts Funeral Directors we have sourced a wide variety of environmentally friendly coffins to offer you an alternative option to the traditional oak coffin.

Enviroboard coffins and caskets are formed from lightweight sheets made of wood fibres. LifeArt has been granted a patent for manufacturing coffins and caskets out of lightweight materials. The composition of the sheets varies depending on the sources of fibre in each market.
