Floral tributes, wreaths, casket sprays and funeral flowers
Bennetts Funeral Directors provide a personal service offering a beautiful selection of wreaths, sprays, floral tributes, and funeral flowers.
A funeral is one occasion where the meaning of flowers is more significant than ever.
There are many factors that may affect your choice of floral tributes and flowers. The most important thing is your relationship to the deceased. Close family or loved ones tend to choose coffin sprays, lettering, hearts, or religious tributes. However, this is not always the case and it is very common for smaller, less formal floral arrangements to be sent. Friends and work colleagues etc, usually send wreaths, sprays, sheaths, posies, or funeral bouquets.
Casket and coffin sprays
Usually chosen by immediate family or the person arranging the funeral, this large tribute is placed directly on top of the coffin
Tied sprays and sheaths
Very similar to a hand-tied bouquet but designed to lay flat. It is suitable for any mourner to send a spray or sheaf-style funeral arrangement.
Floral heart tributes
These heart-shaped, rectangular, or square designs are often chosen by close relatives. Available in a variety of shapes sizes and colours.
Floral funeral crosses
Chosen by close family or friends, Funeral Crosses are often the primary tribute at a funeral and represent extremely personal sentiments.
Letter tributes
Letter Tributes are usually dedicated to a particular family member and form a beautiful centerpiece tribute from the closely bereaved.
Classic funeral wreaths
The traditional circular design of the wreath is a popular choice and often selected to symbolise never-ending love and emotion.
Bespoke tributes
Stunning designs created to convey a more personal message. Talk to our team if you would like us to create a special tribute for you.
Posies and baskets
The Posy is a popular choice from younger children or from distant relatives, whilst the domed Basket allows flowers to be displayed perfectly.
Single flowers and petals
Both meaningful gestures, single Roses and Gerbera can be placed on the coffin at the crematorium, or a single flower or petals can be thrown into the grave.
